miss_ljvOkay, so I am FINALLY posting these. They are not exactly how the apartment is all the time, such as seeing the kitchen table in both the kitchen AND the bedroom (they were taken at different times and the table had been used for a couple laptops and had simply not been moved back yet). The bedroom isn't completely clean but you get the idea. So.... GO!
Here's the view into the kitchen/living room. We spend almost NO time in here. It's stark and the tile is unwelcoming. But we have a cute table and matching chairs! Note the sad giant white board I had expected to need for my job that remains unopened.
View towards our cute nook, which we DO like. My yarn and all the "oldest" games we own.
The actual nook, with our main books straight ahead and all our manga on the right. The top shelf is dedicated to game and movie art books, as well as some other special arty books. The next shelf and a half is Stephen King. Look at our cute collection of hardcovers! ^_^ And the scarves I knit of FF and Zelda, which are resting until winter!
View from the other side, looking into our homemade "closet" which is actually another entrance to our apartment. We desperately need to replace those shitty clothes hangy things. Just don't wanna spend the money. Ugh. And TINIEST KITCHEN EVER. I DO hate that kitchen. It makes me very sad. From here you can see the small hallway that separates the rooms. The bathroom is directly between the kitchen and the bedroom, on the right.
Kitty food and water nook between the fridge and our one closet. And Grimmy is hungry. He'll only eat wet food off of human plates.
No, the wall is not wet. That's actually white paint drips that were repainted in that teal color by us that showed through. The painters REALLY wanted to do a nice job. It's actually not nearly as noticeable without a camera! The shower is full-size with a tub.

View into the bedroom. And yes, those cords must always be in the middle of the room. I always have something plugged in >_<
View from the other side. Our main door is directly left. Look at the majority of our 900+ games! Sooo many!
Here's the part where we have the table again. Normally it's just empty space. And Nero in one of his fave spots.
Yes, I WAS too lazy to make the bed! I LOVE that bed!!! I sleep on the right, Steve on the left (from this angle).
Our gaming tvs (and Netflix!). And so much of our Ikea-purchased furniture XDDD
Hehe. Long overdue, but I actually love our little place! It's a lot of space, just not a lot of storage, or counters. We'll be pretty set here for awhile. <333

Date: 2011-07-17 04:10 am (UTC)I LOVE our walls! I think that they are going to HATE us for that black wall, but we adore it. It's a perfect accent to the red-maroon of the other three. <3 If we paint the living room, it'll likely be a medium shade of brown. The teal is a strong color, but I find it very peaceful in such a small area. :)
