My Design Elements test crochet!

I finished my test crochet for Whitney Marie Anderson. It crocheted up so quickly. I couldn’t remember what the yarn was so I bought a bunch of single skeins on sale. I like how it turned out!

I like more squishy things (this is pretty stiff due to the stitch density) but it’s pretty. If I can soften the wool up, Steve will totally wear it.

Thanks! I ended up giving it to my aunt - it's pretty but too stiff for me. I can always make more.

I really like having a pair of glasses that aren't solely held up by my cheeks!

I miss living in a place where I could where scarves in the winter.

And I can't imagine how much nicer it must be to be able to live your life without fear your glasses will fall off.

One of my favorite podcasters (https://www.youtube.com/c/QuirkyMonday) lives in Florida, and she is so funny about when she can't wear things "because Florida." She knits/crochets a lot of lighter fibers, like cotton, to try to help.

It is so much better now!! The other pair I had made them curve the ends super intensely to hook around my ears like they do with children's glasses - I totally forgot to have them add ANY curve to my new ones. They're totally fine, but a bit long.

Yea, lightweight scarves can be worn but I miss some of the colorful scarves I used to wear in MWC or Smallville. Thanks for the link to the podcaster!
